Prakruthi foundation is an NGO set up in 2010. It is a small effort from well-meaning friends to help children in various schools be it tribal area or village or city by sharing with them one’s time and effort. Members of this foundation have themselves taken up personal expeditions to spread awareness of various social and environmental issues. For more details, mail us at trust@prakruthi.com.
Over the years, number of projects taken up includes:
- Giving free computer education to tribal children at Ashrama Shaale in Nagarhole
- Taking the tribal children for annual excursion
- Partial adoption of school requirements such as providing scientific education kits, winter clothing, footwear and conducting health camps
- Conducting drawing competition, clay modelling and scientific awareness camps for tribal children with active involvement of children
- Interactive game sessions conducted for children and parents
- Computer literate course for forest staff
- Imparting computer education for village and government school
- Providing soft skills training to children through interactive play-way method.
